The 500W Spindle is a great upgrade to the WizMaker Artisan 01 CNC Router adding 67% more power for a wider selection of tools it can use. It would be nice if spindle speed could be controlled through the program software, but manual speed control is a minor issue for the increased capabilities.

I shopped for weeks looking for a first CNC to supplement my business. I have 2 lasers but never worked with a router. First thing is the build quality, rock solid. Second was ease of assembly. With the free version of Easel, I knocked a simple sample job out after about an hour of getting used to everything and going through the software videos. Size may be an issue for some but for the price, it's a great jumping off point. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to run a trim router. And I already have a 1/4 collet ordered for using better bits. I plan on getting the 500 watt spindle soon. Buy direct from Wizmaker, the prices for accesories on Amazon are around $20 more. The limitations on spindles lack of instructional material are the only reason for 4 stars.

Nice compact and robust machine, it works fine for me as a beginner in CNC, the vacuum cleaner does his job also pretty good, absolutely no issues so far

This is the most important part. Find the flash drive in one of the ziploc bags with parts in it. The flash drive has an electronic version ofnthe assembly instructions. Use this as you can actually zoom up on it, rather than trying to read the size 3 font leaflet that came in the box. The flash drive also has the User manual, software and some example files.

Assembly was simple and straightforward. It was a little fiddly trying to get screws in through the wiring harness to assemble the track. Also the green electrical connectors on the harness were difficult to assemble because parts of them were all bent, at least on the version I received.

In general, the design and construction is fantastic. Solid and stiff construction, no flex anywhere.
