Laser engraving wood without burning it can be done by adjusting the laser's power and speed settings. A lower power setting and a faster speed will help prevent burning. It's also important to keep the laser focused and to use a lower DPI (dots per inch) setting. Additionally, it can be helpful to use a vector-based design, rather than a raster-based one, when engraving wood. This will allow for more precise control over the laser's movement and will help prevent burning. It's also recommended to test different settings and materials before starting your final project
